A powerhouse four piece, based in the Deep South UK, comprising:

Alex Barter on double bass and vocals.

The style is a unique blend of hard Southern Rock through to Cajun, Country, Flamenco and all cooked together with their unique signature style of ‘Heavygrass’, described as “A melting pot of styles from American Southern rock, British 70’s rock, Louisiana roots to bluegrass.

”The sound is truly unique, which showcases the musical talent which each band member brings to the fold, having the musical maturity to mix high energy with moody soulful rock, they have drawn comparisons to early The Cadillac Three, Blackberry Smoke, The Allman Brothers Band, The Faces, The Black Crowes and even Motorhead through to the Cosmic American country genre".

"Everywhere the band go, with their unique blend of feel good and fun time countrified rock n roll, the crowds turn up in their masses to stay for the ride and rock out till the beer taps run dry".

Gig accomplishments include:

Playing close to 2,000 rock fans at Planet Rocks Winters End festival February 2018, which gained them an incredible new fan base and they managed to sell out of all merchandise after two hours of meet and greet.

They replicated the success of the Winters End festival by pulling the biggest crowd of the weekend at The Rising Stage of Ramblin Man Festival this summer.

The band played the main stage at this year’s Hard Rock Hell at The Sheffield O2 and pulled a packed crowded put on an awesome show with plenty of audience participation.

Immediately recalled to play the Don Valley Bowl in Sheffield with The Wildhearts, the band are putting in the miles playing to growing audiences.

The debut EP titled ‘The Devil Made Me Do It’, backed by Cloven Hoof rum, has attracted lots of attention from numerous bloggers, reviewers and have had extensive airplay of the lead single ‘Back to Georgia’ both nationally and

internationally.  They are currently charted at No.3 in The Mid-West 365 Radio Network USA.

With an overspill of songs they released their second EP ~ God Knows We Tried. This EP was recorded and produced themselves and showcased heavy grass tracks, country tracks and a little experimental country rock and served as a precurser to the debut album that has been recorded at The Old Chapel Studios in Chichester UK and is set for release in Spring 2020. This is will capture the sound that they produce live and will unveil several new songs and band favourites that have never  yet been recorded.
